One of Uganda’s foremost dancehall artists, Bobi Wine is based in the Kampala slum Kamwokya and uses his music for ‘edutainment’ - speaking for and to the people about issues such as contraception and corruption. President of the artist collective known as the Ghetto Republic of Uganja, Wine has a huge influence on his fans and his endorsement is courted by politicians.
